Inner navigation

Inward navigation is the ability to imagine how you want to feel, and then deliberately concentrate on getting to this inner destination any time you're floating off course. The important point is to recognize whenever you are off course emotionally and then navigate back to where you want to be. Breathing can be an important when calming yourself down, and choosing a more peaceful state.

Meditation is the perfect antedote for anxiety

Meditation stills the mind, creating the path for clear thinking, and a relaxed frame of mind. Simply close your eyes, and sit still in a quiet environment. Meditation requires that you allow no thoughts to enter your mind. Sometimes, it's beneficial to have one word that is meaningful and calm that is repeated over and over again. The idea is to free up your mind. Some people meditate for 15 to 30 minutes, or longer. But even 5 minutes can reap huge benefits.
